Privacy Policy

Whether you're browsing our site or reaching out about your team, this policy explains how we handle your personal information.

1. What We Collect

We collect only what we need to run this website, respond to you, and do our work well. That may include:

  • Contact details (your name, email address, organisation, and phone number) when you fill in a form or get in touch

  • Anything you choose to share in your message about your team or goals

  • Newsletter sign-up details (name and email), if you subscribe

  • Basic, anonymous website statistics (such as pages visited and device type) provided by our website platform

If we work together, we may also hold programme-related information you share with us — such as participant lists, feedback, and scheduling details.

2. What We Use It For

We use your information only for sensible things:

  • Responding to your enquiry and having a conversation about your needs

  • Planning and delivering programmes if we work together

  • Sending the newsletter you asked for (you can unsubscribe any time)

  • Understanding how the site is used, so we can improve it

We do not sell your information, share it with marketers, or add you to lists you didn't ask for.

3. How We Store It

Your information is stored securely and accessed only by the people who need it to do the work — in practice, that's us. We use trusted, password-protected systems (including our website platform and email) and take reasonable, appropriate measures to keep your information safe, as required by the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).

4. Third-Party Tools

Like most websites, we rely on a few trusted services to operate:

  • Framer — hosts this website and processes form submissions

  • Email — for direct communication with you

These providers process limited data on our behalf. We don't hand your personal information to anyone else unless it's necessary to deliver our work to you, or the law requires it.

5. Cookies

This site may use basic cookies to understand how visitors use it — nothing invasive, and nothing that identifies you personally. You can disable cookies in your browser settings at any time.

6. Your Rights

Under POPIA, you may at any time:

  • Ask what personal information we hold about you

  • Request a copy of it

  • Ask us to correct or delete it

  • Object to processing, or ask us to stop contacting you

To do any of these, email nerina@ninajoconsulting.co.za. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with South Africa's Information Regulator (inforeg.org.za).

7. Data Retention

If we work together, we keep your contact details and programme records for as long as our partnership is active, and for a reasonable period afterwards for reference. If we don't end up working together, we delete enquiry information within 12 months. We never keep information longer than we need to.

8. Updates to This Policy

We may update this page from time to time. If we do, we’ll post the changes here and update the “last updated” date below.
